The session of a lifetime has been had by Somerset angler Ben Johnson after the 21-year-old landed no less than 44 carp and a new Richworth Linear lake record on a recent trip to the day ticket venue.

Making the trip across from his Bridgewater home to Oxfordshire was well worth the effort for Ben whose tally included a string of twenties plus a 36lb 12oz mirror from the complex’s St John’s Pool....
